How can I stop stuttering and slowing down when I talk?
I am a stutter its very frustrating. I didnt even have this problems before, I just poped out of nowhere. I think it may have something to do with the lack of socialness (I barely get out the house to talk to other people) in my lifestyle. And when I try to correct my stuttering and slow down when I talk, because my granny told me that helps. I end up getting stuck on one of the syllables in a word.

go to your local library and they have books on tape for studdering

Most importantly get yourself out in public talking to people more.. like anything, practice makes perfect.
I know your frustration. Try to get sleep (it can make stuttering problems REALLY bad) and try to deal with stress.
What has helped me to read out loud. Read anything — books, magazines, etc. Just read outloud. It’s going to hard at first, but it will teach you how to breathe (one big problem most stutters have is when to breathe while reading or talking) and to practice how to recover from stuttering.
well start going out and get to know ppl..and get books and read them out loud…it should get ur words to come out properly..
Think b4 u speak and u will know what u want to say in stead of repeating urself while thinking
keep talking to your granny on the phone may be best, let her slow you down when you get stuttering
and work on talking to Jesus you will never stutter to him he understands our thoughts so even if we did studder he gets every word and idea, and life will have less stress
