My husband has a mild stutter. What can I do to help him.?
He never wants to talk about it. When I bring it up he gets embarassed. It’s really taken a toll on his self esteem but won’t do anything about it. How can I get him to take speech therapy or something else to help him. Any advise from those who stutter?

Contact The Stuttering Foundation of America as that is where our family got help. Their book “Self Therapy for the Stutterer” worked wonders after working through it step by step. The book can be found here http://www.stutteringhelp.org/Default.aspx?tabid=630
